Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy
A valid credit card (Visa or MasterCard) is required at the time of booking. All guests must be over the age of 21. The person making the booking must be 21 years old or over. Captain’s Quarters offer a number of payment options – Cash, EFT and Credit Card. Credit cards will incur a 1.4% surcharge.

Deposit Policy 
A non-refundable deposit of one night’s accommodation.

Arrival/Departure Times
Check-in:  2.00pm
Check-out:  10.00am

Number of Guests
The townhouse caters for a maximum of 4 people only. The number of guests booked is confirmed in your booking confirmation and will never exceed the number of beds provided. If you wish to increase the number of occupants you must advise Captain’s Quarters prior to arrival to confirm additional costs. If you arrive with more than the number of guests confirmed you will be refused entry and you will still be charged for the entire booking. The prices quoted are for 2 people occupying one bedroom. If any additional beds are used a cleaning fee of AUD$25 per bed per night will be charged to the guest’s credit card.

Smoking
The entire property of Captain’s Quarters is non-smoking (this includes the outside areas). If you are a smoker you are required to smoke off the property and dispose of your buts off the property (not in the garbage bins). If you smoke in the driveway or garden areas you will be asked to vacate the property immediately with no refund. If there are smoking odours in the townhouse or cigarette butts in the garden, back gates, an additional cleaning fee of AUD$300.00 will be charged to your credit card.

Pets
Captain’s Quarters is not suited to pets and they are not permitted.

Refund
Captain’s Quarters will not refund in the event your stay is cut short for any reason.

Cancellation Policy 
If, for some reason, you have to cancel more than 14 days prior to arrival we are happy to offer alternative available dates.  Cancellations within 7 days of arrival date will incur full charges, unless prior arrangements has been made or the townhouse has been rebooked. Cancellations made between 14 days and 7 days will incur a 50% charge, unless prior arrangements has been made or the townhouse has been rebooked. In peak seasons (Christmas holidays till late January, Easter and long weekends) if you have to cancel within 1 month of arrival you will be charged the full amount, unless the period is rebooked.

No Show Policy
If no cancellation has been made and you fail to show, you will be charged the full amount plus an administration fee of AUD$50.00.

Breakages or Loss and Damage
All breakages and loss or damages are to be reported immediately, charges may be incurred. Stains and food spills are damage and require notification and remedy and may incur a charge. For this reason we will require your credit card details as security. All undeclared breakages will incur a minimum AU$20.00 charge per item. Any items missing from the townhouse after departure will be charged to your credit card.

Assisted Cleans
Captain’s Quarters is in the self-catering category and this is reflected in the tariffs charged. Should a guest indicate by their behaviour or their actions that they require assistance with returning the townhouse to the condition it was in on their arrival, then a AUD$100 assisted cleaning fee will be charged to their credit card. If you leave the townhouse in an unacceptable state, which results in a lengthy cleaning time your credit card will be charged an additional AUD$100.

Odours
If there are strong smells and/or strong odours (eg cooking, oils) when you depart an additional fee of AUD$100 to deodorise the townhouse will be charged to your credit card. If incoming guests refuse to take up occupancy due to these smells and/or strong cooking odours from previous guest  the loss will be recoverable from the departed guest responsible.
